Sometimes there are no symptoms to indicate a root canal treatment is needed and we rely on radiographic findings.
However symptoms may include:

- Discolouration of the tooth
- Pain
- Draining gumboil
Root canal treatments often require multiple appointments to complete and appointment times may last 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes.
